| Meet Scott + Steph, high school sweethearts who have been head over heels for the last six years.
I’m going begin this post by saying what troopers they both were. With nature seemingly against us, Scott + Steph did extremely well – we were all absolutely soaked by the end of the day, but agreed it was well worth the effort and the wet clothes and shoes. You can tell that Scott + Steph are totally into each other – any couple that is ready to brave these elements and risk losing a pint of blood from killer mosquitoes would have to be. We rocked up to the location and it was raining. And by raining, I mean POURING. Absolutely bucketing down. Not to be disheartened, we waited. Their idea of a sunny day in the forest in dry clothes was obviously fading fast and the rain would not let up. Each time I’d utter “I think its getting lighter” another wave of torrential rain would cover the car. {Insert sad faces here}. The thought of turning around and going home must have crossed their minds, however with quick thinking we decided to head to a similar location where I hoped wouldn’t be as wet. And I’m so glad we did. On the way there, we found an equally awesome spot to shoot at (more on that later). Back to the forest. There were mosquitos. An entire army. Thank goodness we were prepared with repellant because we would have been eaten alive. I mean these mothers were HUGE. Having said this, once we started shooting it was just so damn effortless. Props kids. I hope you enjoy this post as much as I did shooting it. No regrets – I wouldn’t have changed a thing. By the way, that other spot I mentioned before… part two is just around the corner.
