Ally + Grant :: One Frame :: Creative Wedding Photographer Brisbane

I had the most amazing time with Ally + Grant shooting their Brisbane wedding last Friday – such a lovely and genuine couple! Ally is English and Grant is Scottish (as you can tell from the kilt) and while they are based here in Brisbane, most of their family and friends reside in Europe so a number of them flew over to celebrate the holiday season and Grant + Ally’s special day. A small and intimate ceremony & reception shared with their closest, this wedding was absolutely full to the brim with LOVE, and they were so welcoming that by the end of the night I felt more like a guest.

Naomi + Caleb, an extremely talented pair (both singers of The Phoncurves + The Art of Sleeping respectively) are ridiculously in love – 100% soul mates. This wedding was so tearful and heartfelt – during the ceremony it was clear just how much their family and friends adore them and by the end of the day, I was pretty sure that I was just a wee bit smitten with them too! I couldn’t wipe the smile of my face the entire day because these two are just so damn happy together that it was IMPOSSIBLE not to be stoked for them… a lot more soon…

Hello friends! It’s December already?! Can you believe that the end of yet another year is upon us? I’d love to say that I’m winding down and enjoying the festivities but I’ve still got so much to share with you all before the year is out, so I hope you’re ready. I couldn’t more excited for the new year – a number of the engaged couples I’ve shot this year are tying the knot in ’13 and I can’t wait to see them all again! On that note, meet Rosie + Stuart – aren’t they quite the handsome pair? I love shooting engagements for many reasons; there’s something about the happiness that radiates from an engaged couple, that excitement for what’s to come, you know? Here are a few of my favourite frames from an afternoon spent at leafy Mt. Cootha. R+S, I’m hyped for your wedding next March – I can’t wait to spend the day with you and your loved ones.
